Zoo Barcelona Directions: Transportation Options and Location

Several city bus routes stop near the zoo, making it easily accessible from different parts of Barcelona. Lines such as D20, H14, H16, V21, V27 all serve stops around Parc de la Ciutadella, just a short walk from the entrance.

This is a practical and budget-friendly option for getting there.

You can take the Tram line T4 and get off at Ciutadella - Vila Olímpica or Wellington. From either stop, it’s only a few minutes on foot to reach the zoo through the park.

This option is especially convenient if you’re travelling from the coastal areas.

If you’re coming from outside central Barcelona or nearby cities, the closest station is Estació de França, served by regional Rodalies trains.

From there, the zoo is about a 7 - 10 minute walk, making train travel a simple option for regional visitors.

Driving to Zoo Barcelona is straightforward via the Ronda Litoral (exit 22). While the zoo does not have its own parking, several paid car parks are located nearby.

Taxis are also widely available in Barcelona and can drop you close to the main entrance in just a few minutes from the city centre.
